Andrew Mukuye, MbCHb, MPH

Dr. Andrew Mukuye serves as the Director of Bulamu’s Health Center Excellence Program. Dr. Mukuye joined Bulamu in 2023. He is a public health expert with 18 years of experience developing, managing, implementing, and advising public health programs focused on TB, HIV, and TB/HIV control. Dr. Mukuye has detailed knowledge of Uganda’s health system and structures including familiarity with Ministry of Health policies, program priorities and regulations. Early in his career, he served as a physician at Mbarara Hospital, building his experience in treating patients with a wide range of needs, including significant numbers of Maternal and Child Health clients.

Dr. Mukuye earned a medical degree from Makerere University Medical School and a Master of Public Health from the International Health Sciences University.
