Dr. Emmanuel Opolot

Emmanuel Opolot earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from Kampala International University in 2017. He now leads Bulamu’s Surgery Programs, managing the logistics and team for the Surgery Intensive program and referring patients to partner hospitals through the Angel Program, as well as the continuous improvement process for Bulamu’s surgery programs. Since joining the team in early 2021, Dr. Opolot has coordinated surgical care for more than 2,000 patients, making him one of the most productive young physicians in his country. Prior to joining Bulamu, he served as a Medical Officer at the Zia Angelina Health Centre III and did his internship at Masaka Regional Referral Hospital.
