Esther Kabugho
Esther is responsible for human resources, accounting, financial reporting, and administrative policies at Bulamu. At the Supercamps, she handles recruitment and payroll for 250+ temporary staff members. Her organizational objective is to develop a motivational, employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, goal attainment, and personal development. This culture of productivity and caring must also be spread to our camp staffs and the patients they treat.
Before joining Bulamu in 2017, Esther had 18 years of experience as a researcher, trainer, grant writer, administrative manager, and program officer with NGOs and local government. Most recently, she spent six years as Program Director for Foundation for Community Development and Empowerment (FCDE) in Kasese-Uganda. Before that, she was Program Manager for the Agency for Capacity Building (ACB), after earlier positions with other community development organizations. Esther holds an BA in Sociology and an MA in Human Rights from Makerere University in Kampala.
