Joan Nolan

Director

Joan Nolan is a long-time community volunteer with deep board experience. This experience includes serving on the boards of the Walker Art Center, the Children’s Home Society of Minnesota, The Blake School, Westminster School, and more. Additionally, Joan works on documentaries for the Nova Science Series, including research and scriptwriting. Past professional experience includes owning and operating a retail home goods store, following years of work at Calvin Klein, Talbots, and more. Joan graduated from Princeton in 1985.

During her board service, Joan has served on the Executive Committees of all of her boards. She currently chairs the Governance and Nominating Committee for the Walker Center, and she has chaired the marketing committee for one additional board.
